Connecting With Your Clients Thoughts During Qigong

5/16/2015

During some Qigong medical treatments, I will ask the client to focus and direct their thoughts to one of their internal organs, such as the heart, kidney, ovaries - an organ that seems to be failing them or in need. I will then meet them at that same organ with my own focused thoughts.

Once our thoughts are connected, I will ask the client to send thoughts of love and appreciation to that organ. I do this to not only augment the loving healing energy to that organ in the treatment, but also as a way to show the client how to use this technique with their own inner healing.

If you have never used this technique in one of your Qigong medical healings, it may surprise you how you really can feel the connection with your client's thoughts. It is almost as if you feel a gentle bump within yourself. For me, I get a sudden message which says, "ahhh, there you are!"

For the client, he/she will often feel an inner change when they use this technique. If they have felt anger, hurt, or disappointment with their organ, they will often experience a feeling of peace and well being. Having the client internalize and change their inner energy to one of inner love and appreciation can even kick-start the healing process and speed it up. If healing has been stalled, this technique may be what is needed to overcome an obstacle in the healing process and get them back on track. It can be just the extra umph to what is needed.

Create a Bubble of Protection Even for Distant Healings

I was doing a remote Qigong medical treatment, which means the person I was treating was not physically present, but was at their home in another state, and I was visualizing doing a Qigong medical treatment on them while I was remote and at my home, in a meditative state.

It was from this remote medical Qigong experience that I learned a valuable lesson about the need to create a bubble of protection, even though we were not proximal to each other.

I had been treating a family member with severe back pain for several days. I usually do these remote treatments in the early morning, but on this day, I decided to supplement the treatment at night with the hope he could get a good nights sleep.

However, in my rush, I just did the treatment, then rushed off to bed. I didn't do step one, which is to create an energy ball of protection around me. I also failed to do the closing step, which is to wrap an energy ball around the patient, to keep all the subtle energy 'in'.

BAD MOVE!

Later that night, I woke up in excruciating back and abdominal pain - the same type of pains my family member had been experiencing!  It took me hours to get this pain and energy under control and I couldn't figure out what was going on in my body.  Eventually I realized what I had done - I had not created a bubble a protection around me prior to this treatment AND I had not sealed the energy around him at the end of the treatment. In other words, there was a conduit left open and his pain and discomfort flowed right into me while I lay sleeping.

This was a valuable lesson. Even though we are family, and I had been doing several daily treatments, the energy bubble is NOT continuous. Also, in my rush to get some shut-eye, I failed to disconnect the connection as if I left a door open and his experience was then shared.

This was a valuable, but also a painful lesson. Subtle energy, even though it is often not visible, it is still a force that must always be respected.
