
Traveling through life we acquire different coverings from our environment. We even put on those different layers, one by one.
Some of us, when we are older, look down and wonder, "what is covering me? How did I get that covering? Why? and Who am I?"
We may even decide to shed some of those layers to see how it feels without a certain cover. For example, prejudice. Or perhaps recognizing we are keeping our opinions limited.
Some shed those layers and expose their nakedness. It is then when they start to feel a connection to their inner self. It is that journey of self discovery they begin to discover who they really are.
When we do Qigong, we direct our thoughts and attention to our body, feelings, energy, and thoughts. As we learn to these techniques of inner focus, we become more sensitive and aware of who we are. Qigong is a way to help shed those layers and help on that path of inner discovery and awareness.
